MBL DIY gear
I have been a DIY enthusiast since I was 20. I started doing my own guitar effects based on schematics and PCB layouts of well known websites such as Pisotones or Tonepad. After learning programming I could also make my own MIDI controller that I currently use with my Kemper Profiling Amp. I ended doing it because I wanted something more portable compared to the official controller as well as an NRPN-capable device, since Kemper requires this type of messages. Additionally, I sold some aesthetically and and electronically modified pedals under the name of MBL. DIY is fun! (as long as you have space and time to do it).
