This project consisted of the identification, digitisation and classification of 68 magnetic tapes recorded by the renowned Chilean engineer and composer José Vicente Asuar (1933 – 2017), currently safeguarded by his family. The online platform was developed as part of an initiative lead by the Faculty of Arts of Universidad de Chile, one of the leading public educational institutions in Chile.

The developed online platform serves as a dynamic hub, offering users the opportunity to explore, search, and listen to various meticulously restored pieces by José Vicente Asuar, a trailblazer in the realm of computer-aided music in Chile and Latin America. In addition to the audio collection, the platform houses a rich repository of related articles and publications, conveniently accessible in the dedicated “Publicaciones” section.
